East Coast rivers cruises

We often arrange cruises on the East Coast rivers — as daysails, weekend trips, or three-day, four-day or five-day cruises — sailing from Faversham, Whitstable, Maldon, Brightlingsea or Mistley and exploring the Kent, Essex or Suffolk rivers and the Thames Estuary.

As an example, we have already included a possible three- or four-day Suffolk Rivers Cruise, starting from Pin Mill or Mistley, in our Sailing Programme – for details, see Passage trips and daysails 2012.

Possible ports-of-call include:

· Chatham and Stangate Creek on the Medway

· Queenborough, Harty, Hollowshore and Whitstable on the Swale

· Maldon and West Mersea on the Blackwater

· Brightlingsea and Wivenhoe on the Colne

· Orford, Snape and Aldeburgh on the Ore and Alde

· The Walton Backwaters

· Woodbridge on the Deben

· Mistley, Shotley and Harwich on the Stour

· Pin Mill and Ipswich on the Orwell

We also sail up the Thames to London, via Southend, Gravesend and Greenhithe to the O2 Pier at Greenwich.
